I have purchased two GE mircowaves in the last six years and the second one that I had purchased has gone out as well, the only thing we use it for is to heat food and popcorn on occasion, I have a microwave that I purchased 6 years ago and it still works, your products are not good at all, and now we have to buy another microwave, I am going to make a call to your company on Monday , but will not be purchasing anything with the brand GE, because its not a good appliance

Control Panel doesn’t light up!

Used your appliances for years but recently purchased a 19yr old GE microwave with a new GE only to discover control panel doesn’t light up after installation. At first thought something was wrong but then discovered only clock is lighted. Have to use a flashlight in the evening to see the buttons on panel or turn on a light. Very disappointed as my old one was always lit and very accessible. This was an important feature that should not of been left out!!!

I loved it at first. Then the arm pulled away from the door. I was disappointed it broke within three months. You can't read the buttons in low light. But All in all it's a decent product.

Third one in five years

The microwave works fine but this is the third one in five years so it doesn’t seem to last long. Only reason I keep buying the same one is I have a tile backsplash that won’t allow me to put a different size in there. The issue is it will trip the breaker randomly. If you google it there is a common issue with this so I am hoping this has been addressed in manufacturing. We shall see. Not holding my breath.

Had to buy exact model due to remodel

I purchased this model cause it fit my space due to a remodel job. I purchased this exact same model 2 1/2 years ago, it died on me. Believe me when I say this was a microwave we reheated food like all microwaves out there, it should of lasted longer. To make things easiest I purchased an exact model and five year warranty/replacement plan through Lowe’s. I can only hope that this microwave will last longer than the original one I purchased 2 1/2 years ago. I give this two stars because I’m not sure if it will hold up for the long-haul.
