The Venere 3.0 is the flagship model in the Venere family delivering unprecedented sound quality that belies its modest price. The Venere 3.0 is a true 3-1/2 way loudspeaker using dual 7" woofers in a unique configuration where one handles the frequencies from 180 Hz down while the other crosses over to the midrange at 220 Hz. This arrangement is capable of producing prodigious bass output, energy and dynamics and the 6" midrange and 1" fabric dome tweeter add to this an exceedingly smooth and musically engaging top end resulting in a lively and coherent presentation. Suitable for all kinds of music from solo acoustic to heavy metal, the 3.0 will never distort the scale of the performance or lose its sonic composure. The enclosure is tall and slender incorporating all the same styling and design cues found in each Venere model. The enclosure is highly rigid and devoid of any parallel surfaces allowing for exceptionally clean and clear sound to be produced by the Sonus faber designed driver compliment. A tempered glass on both the top and base giving the design a sleek and contemporary feel. Adjustable aluminum feet are fitted to the base allowing for both leveling and adjustment of rake as well as coupling to the floor. The loudspeaker is finished in gloss black or white lacquer and is also available in a real Walnut wood finish at a slight upcharge. The Venere family was designed to be forgiving of placement in the listening environment and for their impressive ability to create the illusion of â?œbox-less sound" and the Model 3.0 is no exception.
