Wireless Receiver X1-RX2 The Russound X1 Professional Wireless Audio Platform is designed for multi-room audio applications. The X1-RX2 is a small but powerful Wireless Line-level Receiver that communicates directly with an X1 transmitter (X1-TX8, required and sold separately) from a distance up to 100 feet (30 meters). With both line-level analog and optical digital outputs, the X1-RX2 connects to an external amplifier to deliver high-quality audio without lengthy cable runs-a perfect multi-zone audio solution for retrofit applications. Using the optical digital inputs and outputs on the X1 system, you can extend a digital audio source by wirelessly transmitting a digital audio signal from a remote location to an audio system. The X1-RX2 features adjustable diversity antennae to optimize performance. External antennae can be used to increase range. The metal enclosure provides increased EMI resistance and better wireless performance. All of the new X1 products feature the same ultra-small footprint and weigh less than a pound apiece. The included versatile mounting bracket makes it easy to install in out-of-sight locations for a clutter-free living environment.
