An 8-inch polypropylene woofer gives the C791 shockingly powerful bass for the price-all the way down to 36 Hz, which is even deeper than the lowest note on an upright bass! The C790's soft-dome tweeter pivots so you can direct the treble anywhere you want. Thanks to careful tweaking from our audiophile design team, the two drivers blend perfectly. Hook up a pair of C791s to even a little 10-watt amp and you will be totally blown away. Thanks to its high 92 dB sensitivity, the C791 needs only about one-third as much power as a typical speaker. And the impedance is 8 ohms, which means any amp will have enough juice to drive it.
