Solid basic machine

I had a 20-yr old hand mixer, and needed a new one, desperately. This does the job handily, although it is a basic model. For whipping cream it may be best to get the proper attachment. But for most everything else, this is a solid machine.

I was given this as a gift from my son. It has been wonderful. It has good power. The only thing I would have loved would have been a "retractable cord". This is just for convenience. The mixer is otherwise awesome!

It's low speeds are good for initial mixing of ingredients. The high speeds could be a bit higher, but it generally has been a good mixer.

The 5-speed hand mixer is quite easy to use. It's fairly lightweight so my hand did not get tired as I was mixing for a long time. There are enough differences between the speeds to make a difference in mixing. I didn't want anything too fancy, so this fits the bill. A nice, easy to use hand mixer that works well.
