We have had this cooktop in place for about a month now, and we are still learning it. It works great with large pots and pans, but it takes forever to heat smaller ones. There is a plate on top of each burner which focuses the flame toward the outer edges(or up the sides)of a smaller pan. It takes forever to heat an average size pan of liquid, and you have to be very careful not to burn yourself on a pot handle. We have experimented with all four of the burner sizes with similar results. The smaller burners don't seem to waste so much fire, or heat the pot handles as bad, but they have less fire to begin with. We need to go back to the book and make sure we are using the cooktop properly.

The gas cooktop is very nice. Since it was so recently installed I have no negative comments. Looking forward to many years of using it. I might say the covers are very heavy to remove but come in 3 sections that can be removed separately.

There are many things I like about the range. The large middle burner will do great for canning and preserving. The five burners good for our family of 5. The knobs are easy to work, and the labeling is clear. The grates have stayed clean, so I haven´t needed washed them yet. It is a pleasure to cook on.

We purchased this to replace an existing 30" cooktop and installed it ourselves. We had to cut the countertop to allow room for a lip this one had that the other did not. As far as the other concerns from the copious amount of reviews I have read we have not had one issue with the grates being too high. This boils without issue on the smallest burner. We had higher end appliances in a previous house and this cooktop compares beautifully and is many ways is nicer. The cooktop is aesthetically pleasing along with functional. I would not hesitate to tell a friend to purchase this. Both my husband and I are happy.

I installed this myself wasn't too hard to put in. The best part about this cooktop is the knobs are far back from the burners and don't get hot when you're cooking also found that it cleans up easily. Have been using it for 4 months has been fault free

I like the stove very much. It is our first gas stove. The only issue I have is that the smaller burners seem to cook at too hot of a temperature . I usually will have to put the pan on the very smallest burner? I may have to just get used to it?
