Hitachi expands solid state projector line with a 3,300 ANSI lumens, 3-chip LCD model delivering larger-than-life performance.Hitachi's solid state light source projector line now includes the laser light source 3LCD model LP-AW3001 with 3,300 ANSI lumens. The new laser phosphor light source offers approximately 20,000 hours (normal mode) of operation time and is virtually maintenance free, there is no lamp to replace providing a dramatic reduction in total cost of ownership. The LP-AW3001 projector is ideally suited for producing up to 130" images in limited spaces. It provides vibrant image quality with cost-effective operation. A suite of advanced features normally found only on higher end models includes 2 HDMI ports one shared with MHL, High Dynamic Contrast Range (HDCR2), and Hitachi's original technology Accentualizer that allows the projected image to appear more real by enhancing sharpness, gloss and shade. Along with its light weight and compact design, the LP-AW3001 offers Hitachi's most appreciated installation feature, "Perfect Fit 2", allowing time saving and ease of installation.
