Why only 4' channels

I wish there was a 96" or 84" etc. longer version of the channel (no I didn't want the wall panels). I have a lot of wall to cover. There was no instructions about how two channels should abut each other? Are they supposed to share the stud? Should one piece be attached to the wall and other piece kind of hang in there?

The fact that these are easy to install (stud finder, level, and drill) makes them a a great addition to any garage. I can't wait to get more tracks and hooks for this system. I bought them on a whim and I just cant stop thinking about how I'll be able to store all of my tools without the clutter.

superior strength

I have pegboard mounted on my garage walls however heavy tools and golf bags are to heavy for pegboard hooks. I bought 3 tracks and they screwed into studs easy using the gladiator screws. I bought various gladiator hooks and was able to hang golf bags with clubs in them and heavy tools like my gas weed wacker. I also used one track to mount the gladiator 48 inch shelf which is strong and holds a jack and jack stands.

We just recently started organizing our garage and after 15 years, believe me it needed it. We did extensive research on what product to buy. After checking several different types out at home improvement stores.....we chose GLADIATOR....not only was it the best quality, it had the best pricing and the look of the product blew the others out of the water! Trust me when I say this system is a MUST for every garage!!!

I bought this gear track to replace a crummy looking wood plank with nails to hang my tools up. This not only holds well but looks very stylish. I like this product so much that I am already researching my next gladiator item for the garage. Great company, a little pricey but the quality is awesome.
