Great Product

Bought this to replace my old Compactor which was maybe 30 years old. While it works great it does not compact as well as my old one but I was expecting that. I only have to take out the trash every week and a half to two weeks. Having said that it is just the wife and I. Every home should have one.

Bought this unit right after Christmas as my wife would not stop bugging me for a new one. Our old one was over thirty years old and the motor finally quit. When we got this one and tried it out for a couple of days, we were kind of not happy with it. But, now that we've had it for a couple of weeks, we really like it. It compacts a lot more then the old one. Thanks. Now where do I get the bags for it?

I have an older home but am not ready to put in a whole new kitchen, so this Trash Compactor works beautifully in my utility room! I didn't bother to put the wheels on it so it looks like a permanent fixture between the washer and the cupboard. This unit looks so much better than an open trash can and it dose a great job of compacting almost any trash!

Bought this two weeks ago and have been happy. We live in the country and haul our own trash away, so this means fewer trips to the dump. Heavy duty. Looks good in the garage. Works well. No expensive installation required. Free standing. If you plan to put it on the wheel base, be aware that assembly can be tricky and troublesome. The spacing is tight when you try to screw the wheel assemblies to the base, so it can be frustrating.

Who knew that a trash compactor would be a great asset to our home. The amount of time this compactor saves on trash detail is amazing if you have a family that generates a regular amount of trash your definitely going to be appreciative of this unit.

I purchased this about 3 weeks ago. You have to have at least half a can before it starts to compact so not really much savings.

Big, Wow! This compactor is terrific. I live on an island where trash removal is very expensive. The more I can get into a bag, the cheaper it is for me. Now I compact my trash quickly, allowing me to get 4 times ash much a bag. When paying by the bag, compacting becomes a must. Love this machine.
