1. The suction fan sits on the left half of the hood and that means no suction on the right half! They call this 36" hood but is good for an 18" hood.
2. The light is not LED and hence gets too hot next to your head and face!

It's a good hood. Although I like it but there's some cons with it too. First of all the price is high. Second, it has 2 filters but has only one engine on one side. However, it's powerful and works really good.

The filter turned brown/yellow right away, not happy with the inabitliy to clean it very well. We bought a new home and did not have a choice, i would not have chosen GE, the stove top, oven and microwave are all poor quality.

Disappointed with fan suction. Draws steam only from left side. With 5 burners fan should have been placed in center of hood. I ordered from off web so didn't realize it was uch a poor design.
