We had a lot of trouble with fan noise. It took a lot of work to get the squirrel cage to not rub on the unit. I finally got it. Other than that it works great. We got it at Direct Appliance. Those people were great.

My only greif is the lighting. The halogen lights are on the very front of the hood and only provide light to the front two burners of the stove. The fan is strong and does feature both low and high settings. Keeping it clean will be easy because everything is easily accessable.
