Appliances always break at Christmas

My old 'other brand' microwave decided to go belly up 3 days before Christmas-this GE model was one of 2 that my local store had in stock...you never know how much you miss some appliance until you try to get along without it (trying to avoid paying pre-Christmas prices)...I picked the stainless steel trim version & it goes great in my kitchen! I live on microwave food/drinks & this microwave is perfect for me!

This unit replaces a microwave that ceased to heat. The GE unit has similar operating features,size and power. It fits will in our kitchen and lifestyle. One slight drawback: the numeral keyboard is black and I would recommend that the button labels had a sharper contrast to the black background.

This is the noisiest microwave I've ever had. I can't tell if something is wrong with the turntable because there is no light in the microwave.
