What a disappointment. I gave away a GE 14 CF freezer that was 25 years old and working perfectly. I had to use it on the enclosed porch since it was too big to fit down the basement stairs. I wanted a new/smaller freezer that could be taken into the basement. I gave away the old freezer to a family in need, bought the new one only to find that it was DOA. I bought this model because of it's good reviews.The store repair department says that this brand new freezer isn't even repairable. How can that be? How can a company make something that if it break the only recourse is to go buy another one. That's insane.

We bought this a couple months ago and so far so good! Runs well, right size for us, and is very light and easy to move when empty. I also like that it has two baskets- other freezers had one or none!

We are two senior citizens that needed a little extra freezer space. This unit is perfect in size for just such a situation. The unit is extremely quiet and very efficient. The two baskets the unit comes with are good sized and very helpful in sorting freezer items.

I used the smaller one (5.0 cu.ft) for more than 6 yrs before I purchased (7.0 cu.ft) this. I purchased the 7.0 cu.ft to get more space for food storage. Then gave the smaller one which is still in good working condition to my daughter. After second year of using 5.0 cu.ft Freezer I recommended it to a friend in search of good freezer and she is still using it after 4 years and she keep recommending it to her friends.I will continue to recommend this product to family and friends.

We love this deep freezer! With a family of 4 and being a busy mom, I do a lot of meal prep and we freeze a lot of meat. So our fridge freezer just wasn't cutting it with space. This chest freezer is the perfect size and holds A LOT of stuff. Keeps cool and cooled down within hours of install.
