Great filter just does not last

The filter is easy to install and seems filter water just fine. I couldn't give it above a 2 because the last three I purchased only lasted 3 months each. At $50 a pop i expect to at least get close to the advertised 6 months. To make things worst I have not been able to find another brand for my fridge so I had to go out and buy another one of these today.

Having a deep well water source, I am assured of clear, safe drinking water free of particulates, iron, lime, microspores and cysts often found in well water. So glad my refrigerator has filtering. I like the option of auto-ship based on the number of people in the household with a discount too.
