-Location: Yonkers, NY

-Schedule: 40-hour workweek (Saturday availability required)

QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum of 2 years of work experience. Sales or customer service background will help but industry experience is not mandatory.

- Must be a "people-person". We want someone who generally likes helping people.

- Must be available to work Saturdays.

- Excellent listening skills

- Eagerness to learn about the products and services we offer.

- Previous success in achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Professional appearance is expected.

- Computer skills - usage of email, web browsers

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Warmly greet customers either upon arrival at our showrooms or via phone.

- Assist customers in selecting the most suitable appliances or outdoor living products for their homes.

- Provide prompt sales quotes and conduct follow-up communications regarding sales quotes.

- If customer issues arise, calmly handle situation and apprise management.

- Provide accurate delivery and installation time frames as well as inventory levels.

- Participate in training sessions to further product knowledge.
