Crestron ANT-EXT Antenna Extenders are designed for use with many Crestron RF gateways and wireless access points, allowing the device to be installed in an equipment rack or similar enclosure while the antenna gets mounted outside the enclosure. It can also be used to enable placement of the device on a low shelf while allowing the antenna to be positioned at a higher elevation for optimal coverage.The ANT-EXT is offered in 5 ft (1.5 m) or 10 ft (3 m) lengths. Each ANT-EXT features a magnetic weighted base with attached extension cable. The base can be placed on the top of a rack or cabinet, or on a shelf. Its strong magnet also allows it to be affixed to a vertical metallic surface such as the side of an equipment rack. Simply attach the antenna, which normally ships with the gateway or wireless access point, to the ANT-EXT base and position it for proper operation.
